New Crown Training Academy Website

After a good year's development we finally unleash the new Crown Training Academy website.

Crown Training Academy, based in Swansea offer a wide range of training courses in health and safety, health care, first aid and food hygiene to name but a few. The website consisted of well over 200 courses and more than 220 pages. Navigation was a primary factor in such a large website as well as a home page layout that wasn't too confusing but engaging enough to show off all the courses Crown offer.

The site also had to live up to stiff competition on the search engines, in depth search engine optimisation went into the sites development and thus far has performed above our expectations on the major search engines.

Biofutures Website Live

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Biofutures website, supplier of wood pellet and biomass heating boiler systems it's been an interesting website to complete. With many of the products supplied manufactured in Austria and Germany translation of content was a little difficult at times. However, the biomass heating systems were quite fascinating in how they worked and the type of financial saving you could make against conventional heating fuels and systems.

We've Been Fighting A Virus!

We spent three days this week and each of them very late nights trying to remove a virus in one of our systems. It was the Search / Google Redirect Virus and proved to be a very stubborn contender!

Thankfully we managed to remove it with about 7 different anti virus programs and some technical know how - No kicking or throwing out the window techniques used!
The Search / Google redirect virus is a browser hijacker, it basically takes you to different website's after you perform a search and click a link in google, bing, yahoo etc. It does other things that vary on the type of this virus but it's hard to get rid of.

If you have the Search Google Redirect Virus seek professional help and don't use online banking, purchase anything online or log into any of your email, social media or online accounts.

Email Marketing Workshops A Success

Over the last week of July we teamed up with the Cime Project and Juliet Fay to bring all three counties of West Wales of series of Email Marketing Workshops.

The workshops were held across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion at three glorious locations.

Juliet Fay, professional copywriter in carmarthenshire led the workshops explaining the importance of planning your email marketing campaign instead of just pressing the send button and hoping for the best.

• Neil Kedward - The Grove in Narberth
• Martin - Ty Mawr Mansion Country House, Cilcennin, Lampeter

The workshops were an excellent introduction to e-marketing for anyone still not sure how to approach the matter.
